Anemia is a condition of decreased red blood cell number or hemoglobin concentration, disturbance in their function, ultimately leading to oxygen transport tissues. Many factors and diseases may lead anemia, with wide manifestations systemically as well orally. Therefore, sound understanding this essential for the dental practitioner, emphasis on alerting signs, management proper communication patient’s physician.
